III. AD5933 – 1 MSPS, 12-bit Impedance Converter Network Analyser

The AD5933 is a high-precision impedance converter system solution introduced by ADI, integrating an on-chip frequency generator with a 12-bit, 1 MSPS analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The signal generated by the frequency generator excites an external complex impedance; the response signal is sampled by the on-chip ADC and processed via a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) by the on-chip DSP, returning real (R) and imaginary (I) data words at each frequency.
